Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Ann. She was 10 years old, she had brown hair and green eyes. Ann was shy, because she didn’t have a lot of friends because she couldn’t go to the park, or to the swimming pool because her parents were always bored, and she couldn’t go alone.
Ann lived in a little town next to New York. They were a poor family, so they had a little and cold house, because there, winters were freezing. Ann never had a present because they couldn’t celebrate Christmas, because her parents didn’t have time or money to celebrate it. But Ann wanted to get up in the mornings, and have a little present under the beautiful green tree. One day, the girl found a paper on the floor that said: “If you want to meet Santa, come here: meet me in the main square at 16:00.”

“Oh my gosh! This is my opportunity to have Christmas like other children.” said Ann.
And she went home to plan how she was going to meet Santa. In the morning, Ann, wakes up early, and goes to the the main square but, her dad, saw her going out and said:

“Ann, where are you going? You can’t go out, you have to stay at home.” “But I want to go out to see the Christmas staff, and to meet Santa.”
“That this is a silly thing, Santa doesn’t exist and Christmas is a waste of time.” “Don’t say that!” replied Ann.

Ann went to his room and closed the door. She wanted to give up, but her dream couldn’t be over, so she took the paper, and went to the main square. She started to run, because she was very late. Finally, she arrived, but 30 minutes late, so Santa wasn’t there. She was devastated and frustrated because she couldn’t see Santa ever again. When Ann was going home, she saw a reindeer in the street. It was alone, in the middle of the street with cars, so Ann went to help the little animal.

“Are you ok?” said Ann to the animal.

“Yes! Thank you!” answered the reindeer, Ann was very surprised, because the animal could speak, so she looked to his nose, and saw it was red, so at the instant, she knew it was Santa Claus’ reindeer.

“You are Santa’s reindeer. Aren’t you?” “Yes, it’s me, and I need help.”

“What do you need? What can I do to help you?” “I need you to bring me with Santa.”

“I am going to meet Santa?”

Ann’s heart filled with excitement as she led the reindeer down the snowy streets, hoping they’d find Santa. They hurried through the little town, and finally arrived where other reindeer and a big sleigh loaded with gifts were waiting. Then, a man in a red suit stepped out with a warm smile. His eyes sparkled as he looked at Ann.

“Hello, Ann,” Santa said. “I heard you were kind enough to help my reindeer.” Ann’s eyes went wide. “It’s really you, Santa?”

“Yes, and as a thank you, I have something special for you,” he replied, handing her a gift. “Remember, Christmas is about kindness, love, and believing in a little magic.”

Ann felt happier than ever. When she got home, she found her parents waiting by a small Christmas tree they’d put up to surprise her.

“We may not have much, but tonight, let’s celebrate Christmas together,” her mom said.
They spent the night around the little tree, talking and laughing. Ann realized that even though they didn’t have much, Christmas felt special just being together, and she knew she would never feel lonely again.

LH2, UNTXIAK

Munstro urdinaren istorioa

Los chicos y chicas de 2º de primaria / LH2

Gabonak dira eta hotz handia egiten du, zero azpitik zortzi grado (-8º). Monkaio mendiaren azpian, Argia ikastola dago eta gaur Olentzero eta Mari Domingi etorriko dira gabonetako festara. Ortzadarrak oso pozik gaude opari eta goxokiak jasoko ditugulako.

Handik gutxira, elur asko egiten hasi zuen eta ikastolan sartu ginen. Leihotik begira geundela, elur-jauzi erraldoi bat gertatu zen eta ikastola osoa estali zuen.

Denok oihuka hasi ginen, beldur izugarria genuen eta ezingo genuen irten. Elurretan zulo bat egitea probatu genuen baina dena izoztuta zegoen eta ezin zen hautsi. Orduan, gogoratu ginen herritar arraro batek kontatutako istorioa, munstro beldurgarri bat bizi zela Monkaio mendiaren tontorrean.

Halako batean, lurra dar-darka hasi zen, pausu handi batzuk entzun genituen eta uste genuen munstro gaiztoa zela. Orduan, zulo batetik esku urdin iletsu bat sartu zen eta esan zuen:

Lagunduko zaituztet, igo nire gainera!

Eta ikastolako jende guztia bere gainera igo ginen.

Oraindik arriskuan geundenez bere kobazulora eraman eta sopa beroa eman zigun.
Eskerrik asko Munstro Urdina! Sopa beroa eta oso goxoa dagoelako esan zuen jende guztiak.

Elurra gelditu zenean ikastolara itzuli ginen, Munstro Urdinak elur guztia kendu zuen eta gu laguntzen egon ginen. Dena garbitu eta gero Olentzero eta Mari Domingiren festarekin jarraitu genuen eta bukatu zenean Munstro Urdinaren kobazulora joan ginen beste festa bat egitera.

Handik aurrera inork ez genuen munstroaren beldurrik izan eta bisitatzera joaten ginen larunbat eta igandetan.
